GIANTS at REDSKINS
Line: Redskins by 3 1/2
Vs Spread: 67.6% of you picked the REDSKINS
Straight-Up: 76.6% of you picked the REDSKINS
REDSKINS
REDSKINS
This is a better team with Cousins at QB. While Eli and the Giants got their act together last week and this should be a hardfought division battle, I like the home team.
PANTHERS at RAVENS
Line: Ravens by 2 1/2
Vs Spread: 71.8% of you picked the RAVENS
Straight-Up: 78.6% of you picked the RAVENS
PANTHERS
PANTHERS
Steve Smith Sr. will be hyped to face his old team and the Panthers have injury issues at RB. That said, this feels like a bounce-back week for Carolina. The defense should be especially motivated to rise above last week's debacle at home versus the Steelers.
PACKERS at BEARS
Line: Packers by 1 1/2
Vs Spread: 50.2% of you picked the BEARS
Straight-Up: 52% of you picked the BEARS
PACKERS
PACKERS
Tough pick. Initially picked Chicago, but something tells me the Packers offense will finally show up. Aaron Rodgers thrives at Soldier Field.
BILLS at TEXANS
Line: Texans by 2 1/2
Vs Spread: 67.4% of you picked the TEXANS
Straight-Up: 73.3% of you picked the TEXANS
TEXANS
TEXANS
Another pick I struggled with. The Bills regressed last week at home. A visit to Houston will be a tough follow-up for EJ Manuel.
TITANS at COLTS
Line: Colts by 7 1/2
Vs Spread: 80.3% of you picked the COLTS
Straight-Up: 94.2% of you picked the COLTS
COLTS
COLTS
The Colts may not be as good as they looked last week but Jake Locker and the Titans are going nowhere. I think the Colts can handle them, though I don't like the extra point on this spread.
BUCCANEERS at STEELERS
Line: Steelers by 7 1/2
Vs Spread: 82.3% of you picked the STEELERS
Straight-Up: 96% of you picked the STEELERS
BUCCANEERS
STEELERS
Classic flip-flop game. The Bucs looked terrible last week. The Steelers looked awesome. So everyone hops on the Steelers and then this game turns out to be a barn burner and possible upset. You watch.
LIONS at JETS
Line: Lions by 1 1/2
Vs Spread: 75.8% of you picked the LIONS
Straight-Up: 82.4% of you picked the LIONS
JETS
JETS
The early slate of games is filled with tough calls for me. Here's another one. Lions have been good, especially on defense. The Jets' only win came against the Raiders by 5 points. Still, the Lions have only scored 26 points in their last 8 quarters. I'm going Jets in this one.
DOLPHINS at RAIDERS
Line: Dolphins by 3 1/2
Vs Spread: 62.6% of you picked the DOLPHINS
Straight-Up: 73.9% of you picked the DOLPHINS
RAIDERS
RAIDERS
This game is in London. Doesn't necessarily provide an advantage for either team, but the Raiders are coming off a hard-fought loss against the Pats while the Dolphins got blasted at home. The Raiders are close to breaking into the win column and I think they do it this week.
JAGUARS at CHARGERS
Line: Chargers by 12 1/2
Vs Spread: 69% of you picked the CHARGERS
Straight-Up: 96.5% of you picked the CHARGERS
JAGUARS
CHARGERS
San Diego is on a roll. I expected a letdown last week. Maybe this is the week. For the Jags, there's hope for better offense at least, with Blake Bortles now at QB.
FALCONS at VIKINGS
Line: Falcons by 2 1/2
Vs Spread: 83.5% of you picked the FALCONS
Straight-Up: 88.9% of you picked the FALCONS
FALCONS
FALCONS
The Falcons may not be as good as they looked last week and Teddy Bridgewater is a wildcard for the Vikings. With only needed a FG win to cover, I'll still take the Falcons.
EAGLES at 49ERS
Line: 49ers by 5 1/2
Vs Spread: 57.6% of you picked the EAGLES
Straight-Up: 62.8% of you picked the 49ERS
EAGLES
49ERS
Can't believe this spread. The Eagles look very good and the 49ers look very average. This feels like a gimme.
SAINTS at COWBOYS
Line: Saints by 2 1/2
Vs Spread: 63.2% of you picked the SAINTS
Straight-Up: 68.6% of you picked the SAINTS
SAINTS
SAINTS
The Saints got a win but only scored 20 points at home last week. So something is still up with them. The Cowboys could steal this but I'm going chalk anyway.
PATRIOTS at CHIEFS
Line: Patriots by 3 1/2
Vs Spread: 67.8% of you picked the PATRIOTS
Straight-Up: 77.3% of you picked the PATRIOTS
CHIEFS
PATRIOTS
Where is the Patriots offense this season? With the hook, I like the Chiefs to cover in this one.

Good luck with your own picks this week!
